Serengeti Fresh takes advantage to grow fresh produce within the very unique weather patterns that exist in northern Tanzania between Mt.Kilimanjaro and Mt.Meru.The high attitude (1700m) rain shadow site on Mt Kilimanjaro for the edible podded peas and three sites (1200-1500m) on the southern slopes of both mountains provides ideal growing conditions for Beans / Baby Corn / Chillies / Okra and range of products throughout the year.

Serengeti Fresh is working closely with research institutions and technical teams and continually implementing IPM to reduce the use of crop protection chemicals to ensure a sustainable production base.
